    Default Payne A/C

I did an inspection today and can't find the tonnage on A/C compressor/condenser unit. Could any one help me? It's a Payne unit model # PA10JA048-H. Thank You.

    48 divided by 12 = 4 Ton

As Billy correctly stated, it's a 4 ton unit. Payne is a division of United Technologies. (makers of Carrier, Bryant, Payne...and formerly Day N' Night)
The tag may say BDP Corporation.
Most manufacturers code the size in the model number, and it is divisible by 12. For example, 48 is a 4 ton, 36 is a 3 ton, and 30 is a 2.5 ton...and so on.
