Can anyone out a date on the Rheem unit?
Model # 2403 120D
SN 212939 CO4

Are you sure those are the serial numbers? The chart I have for Rheem it makes no sense.

Dave I left of the last 3 digits should be SN 212939 CO4

Chart I have says last four digits of serial number by week and year.
9th week of 2004. Does that make sense from your visual observation?

No ,I would have expected it to be older given the amount of corrosion on the exchangers. Either way I'm recommending service by HVAC contractor because of the heavy rusting. Thanks!
