gas furnace venting
why would an HVAC contractor vent the exhaust flue into a turbine vent in the attic, looked pretty dangerous to me. Tell me if I am wrong, but I told the client the vent needs to be thru the roof with proper roof flashing and vent cover. Need input here.

Re: gas furnace venting

Re: gas furnace venting
Grant,

There's a wealth of information about this to be found reading through furnace manufacturer installation instructions and B vent installation instructions. Not as fun as a novel, but required reading for any home inspector. Scary...

Darren, the answer is right under your nose...Stupidity
