Looks like someone hacked away the outer shell of a section of B-vent to expose the inner section so they could screw it into the appliance collar because they didn't buy a draft hood connector.

Screws missing. Pipe can easily become dislodged.

This venting is installed upside down. Those locking bands go on the female ends. Installed upside down, they can slide down allowing the pipe to disengage.

Condensate can now leak out of the pipe.

Can't tell what else is going on at the ceiling/ wall.
