Two units on one thermostat
Did an inspection today and came across two AC units on one thermostat. I have never seen this before. Can anyone help me out with this. Thanks

Do both AC units serve the same conditioned space?

The units were side by side in the closet serving conditioned air through the house.

Michael,

As this would be uncommon I see no problem.
Both units serve the same space. I would want to see the thermostat mounted in a central location. Both units run till they meet the set temperature of the thermostat,same space no problem.
