Gas meter
Indoor AC condenser/compressor unit.(Never saw one before) Condenser can not be seen in pic behind plywood.Question is do you guys consider AC unit a source of ignition? If not there was a gas furnace and gas water heater in same closet that was close to 3 feet from exterior gas meter. Does being indoors make this moot issue? They put roof over gas meters. Was this an attempt to separate meter from this room?
These condo's have more issue than homes!

Re: Gas meter
As long as the source of ignition is separated by an exterior wall that is sealed, I wouldn't count it. However, that shed is a pic of crap. Also, the bush needs to go. Need access. This shed would tend to collect fugitive gas rather than allow it to dissapate.

Re: Gas meter
Those aluminum extrusions sorta' make that look like a pre-designed "made-to-propose" assembly... but to what purpose? Were there others like that at the condo complex? Could that have been related to whatever was previously installed at that location?

Re: Gas meter
Thanks Bob. The problem is when the wood panel is removed for the summer. (Indoor Condenser/compressor) The indoor AC does have a pretty tight jacket on the inside. But about 2 feet away is gas water heater.
I think in past post we established that you would not consider a Service panel a ignition source. Same thing for AC unit?
Michael. All the units had the same roof over the Gas meters.Looks to have been done as separation from condenser above.
