I saw that several weeks ago, the report said the mold was found during remodeling work. The inspector should sue her for breach of contract.

OMG! You guys are horrible. I wasn't even thinking like that. I was just watching her with that colander and thought of that.

Re: Rachel Ray suing over mold
It took 3 years for the problem to become apparent to the residents, and now the inspector is at fault?
Maybe if he claimed to have done a mold inspection, he may have to defend himself. Otherwise. this shouldn't even be making the news. Stories like this are what makes ME sick. I should sue somebody.

Re: Rachel Ray suing over mold
It might be that it just took 3 years for it to make it to court, or hit the news, and the problem was apparent much earlier.
I'm working on a court case that involved construction problems. The house was less than a year old when I did the inspection. I did the inspection in September 2007. I was finally deposed last year, but court dates have changed at least 4 times. Its now set for November, but I'm not holding my breath.
