Sad News
Just wanted to pass this on so that anyone that knows this inspector or just wants to help can. I don't know him, but we can all relate.
Home Inspector Falls From South Kitsap Roof » Kitsap Sun
Terry Olson, an inspector from Grapeview, fell off the roof of a house he was inspecting last Tuesday. He was airlifted to St Joseph hospital in Tacoma where he died the next day. Whether you knew Terry or not, this is a clear reminder to all of us to be extra careful. For those of you who want to help out, here is the information I received from Jerry Obendorf , a local Realtor who knew Terry well:
The local manager of the Shelton Branch of Key Bank, Gayle Weston, told me any branch of Key Bank can accept contributions to the “Terry Olson Fund”. She said to put “attn: Gayle Weston, Shelton Branch” on the memo line of a check, just to be sure it gets to the right place. This fund is set up for the immediate financial needs of his family to take care of funeral, burial, arrangements, etc.
Susan, Terry’s wife, requested future contributions go to “Skookum Rotary Foundation”, PO Box 849 , Shelton , WA 98584 . Terry was an active member of Skookum Rotary and the Club is considering establishing a scholarship fund in Terry’s memory. Donations can be dedicated to that cause. That “Skookum Rotary Foundation” is a tax exempt 501 (c) 3 corporation and all contributions are tax deductible.

I just saw that someone else posted this in another thread. My apologies. I will not delete it in case someone does not see it in the other post.
