Double Wide Inspection Is Double the Fun
I don't see many double wides but I know enough to say "this isn't good".

Re: Double Wide Inspection Is Double the Fun
Not at all like any manufacturer installation manuals I have seen with regard to the piers, supports, tie-downs are not shown in the photo so I can't address that.

Re: Double Wide Inspection Is Double the Fun
I've seen hundreds of MHs on blocks just like that. None of them have had a problem.

It might not go anywhere but wrong is wrong. There was one tie down strap that was not ever installed and was laying on the crawlspace floor.

Re: Double Wide Inspection Is Double the Fun
Hello, Nick. The center of your picture is the split line of the two halves, right? Remember that the steel frame carries the load, and those are resting on the lower blocks to the left and right of the center. So those tall piers are kind of redundant.
The vapour barrier is sagging and that is also normal. Watch for an extreme sag with tiny droplets of water seeping out of it, that is bad news. Avoid the temptation to poke the big water balloon. The way that furnace vent has been leaking, I'd expect some moisture in the ducts and floor bag as well.
But overall, it looks typical in the crawlspace. A nice one on a slab.
