Hello from the newbie in Florida......

Hello from sunny southeast Florida. I've been in the electrical field since 1979. I passed my journeymans exam in 1986 and became a Florida State Certified EC in 1990. I passed my ICC inspectors certificate just in time for the building industry to go in the crapper. I was counting on this certificate for my retirement as I was only planning on working until age 65. Boy did I get a wake up call. Our three county area (Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade) have laid off hundreds of inspectors and plan reviewers. I just hope things turn around before too long. Anyway, this sounds like a terrific forum to be part of.

Welcome to THE inspectors board.

Those are my old stomping grounds, I moved up to Ormond Beach just before the market tanked.

I used to have my own inspection and consultation company down there - 17 years.

My office was in Pembroke Pines and I went from Jupiter to South Dade.
