OLD guy just became NEW member
Not a inspector yet, been an appraiser for past 25 years and still going. During the course of an appraisal I need a lot of similar information as a inspector, especially ages of hvac and other major components. I have been trying for a while to find date of mfg. for hvac units. Google brought me here, I have saved in to my favorites and intend to visit often.

Appraising should be easy these days - just drop a couple of zeros off from what it was last year!!
There is a publication - Prestons guide - has all that info. Someone will tell you where to get it.
