Thread: Hi. Thanks for letting me join.

I will admit, right off the bat, that I'm not an inspector. I found your forum while I was looking for some NC code items. SO far, I have found everything I need from previous posts.

I'm a quiet builder. I do jobs for folks that can't afford the regular run of contractors and I do tons of my own work. Does one need to be an inspector to ask questions here?

Great. Thanks. I'm pretty good at looking things up but sometimes little casual expertise is just what one needs to make his local inspector believe that he may be mostly competent.
