Re: New to business in Kentucky
One of the important things for an inspector is reading comprehension.
Gotta read stuff carefully. It says:
===========
· Passed the National Home Inspector Examination, provided by EBPHI, the Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors on the first attempt. While Kentucky has no statewide testing, this examination is used in many states as the licensing examination.
· Passed the National Inspector Examination required for membership in the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
===========
I don't see anything there about the "NAHI" test.
Though I see I do need to update the dang thing now that Kentucky DOES have licensing. Guess it's been awhile since I read thru the website for update needs. This winter's slow down will be a good time to do that.

Welcome to the forum. I don't post much but I do learn a lot from those around here that are more knowledgeable than myself (almost everyone). I just started in the business this spring and LOVE doing inspections!!! Best wishes in your new business.
