Greetings from New England
Hello everybody my name is Jim and I have been lurking long enough. I just finished the Massachusetts mandated training and facing the tasks of selecting tools, software and studying for the NHIE as well as finding s/o to tag along with.
There is so much to learn and I expect to learn a lot more in the field. Joining associations and coming on board here will help.
We have a lot of snow on the ground up here and I am looking forward to spring.
Thank you all.
Jim

Re: Greetings from New England
Welcome, Jim, from another Bay Stater! I grew up in Northampton.
My experience is that you learn a tremendous amount doing "ride alongs", especially the kind of things that are difficult to impart in a classroom setting, such as how to deal with clients, sellers, realtors, etc.
But this board is also invaluable. There is an archive from the board's previous incarnation that has many years of of info, too.

Re: Greetings from New England
Welcome Jim:
Good luck with your start up and I think you will find this a great place with a good group of people that will help and answer questions you may ever have.
Looking forward to spring here in ohio too, snow on roof exterior always makes for a return trip to estimate roof exterior life left, but thats the winter months here in ohio.
