I don't think we're related, but you never know. My father was an only child, but his uncle fathered a few kids but we never connected. We're originally from Schomberg. (settled there in the early 1800's)
I'm about to retire from the City of Toronto. 30 yrs of municipal building experience. CBO,OBOA chapter chairman, senior official in municipal law, etc., etc...You get the picture!
I'm still to young to quit working completely, (50 something) so I'm heading off in a new direction and taking my civil service career and applying it to the private sector.
I still have 2 kids in university and I help with their bills.
I hope to exit the City this early winter and have my biz up and running in the new year, and probably be attending the OAHI chapter mtgs in Orillia.
