Doug Dewitz
Hi all from Kanab, Ut. Utah is one state where there is no such thing as an home inspector. At least not through our Department of professional licensing. I am a licensed general contractor so have had to apply to professional registration, licensing, and insurance requirements. A couple years ago Utah introduced home inspection legislation only to have it defeated. It was also suggested at that time the real estate board would run the profession not the department of professional licensing; sorta like the fox running the chicken coup! Any way glad to be aboard

Welcome Douglas, keep those foxes out of the hen house. That is what we have in Texas and the further it goes, the worse it gets.
