I strongly suggest if you haven't already, check out the Federal Aviation Admin about air space, flight rules, other parameters and conditions. The use of drones is a big concern with government agencies for a myriad of reasons. As you may have seen Amazon is considering using them to deliver small packages. They will have lots of hurtles to jump, and I don't think it will fly.

In Canada one needs to obtain a Special Flights Operation Certificate each time the drone is used, if for commercial use.

I have purchased a quad copter but have yet to use it or fly it.
