Hello.
Hi everyone, my name is Alex and I'm a plumber for 14 years, hold a plumbing contractor certification and shop owner. Also hold backflow (test and repair) certifications. Glad to found this forum.

PVB (pressure vacuum breaker): 2 shut off.
AVB (atmospheric vacuum breaker): just one shut off.
Both looks kinda similar but is not.
You're totally right, not allowed.
