New member in Michigan
New member in the beginning phase of trying to determine if I can make a go of starting my own business of home inspection. I'm a licensed builder that has been working for a non profit doing HQS and UPCS inspections for federally funded grant programs on rental, community development and spec writing since 2003. I currently oversee the agency's weatherization program - energy audits with cost effective energy improvements. I did oversee and teach construction to at risk youth with the agency's YouthBuild program before the Weatherization and Home rehab programs I'm doing now.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself quickly and would be receptive to any advice on branching out on my own in this field.
Thanks,
Paul
