KREIA has reduced education fees
Check this out, KREIA (Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association) has reduced education fees for members due to the rough year.
The next Education Conference is October 23, 24 & 25
________________________________
KREIA Annual Education Pass
In 2007-2008 KREIA introduced the Annual Education Pass. The vast majority of the membership bought the Annual Education Pass that covered all of KREIA's events from September 2007 through August 2008.
Once again KREA is offering the Annual Education Pass to cover admission for all of KREIA's events from September 2008 through August 2009. The education pass pays for the conference expenses and speaker's fees.
For KREIA members, the cost of the Annual Education Pass for all KREIA events from September 2008 through August 2009 is reduced from $350.00 to $75.00.
Based on KREIA's current financial situation, the state of the profession, and in the spirit of "Home Inspectors Helping Home Inspectors" the KREIA Board of Directors is announcing an immediate one time fee change for the 2008-2009 Annual Education Pass. For this year's membership period (September 01, 2008 -- August 31, 2009) the Annual Education Pass cost has been reduced from $350.00 down to $75.00 for KREIA members in good standing. This is a one time emergency offer, available until the start of the October conference on October 23, 2008.
The reduced fee of $75.00 entitles you to attend all KREIA education events from September 01, 2008 to September 01, 2009. This means that KREIA discounted $275.00 in education fees for every KREIA member in good standing for the 2008-2009 year.
If you have already paid the full fee, "Thank You!", however, you should expect a check from KREIA in the next few weeks for the difference in the fees you paid and the reduced rate for the Annual Education Pass.
Membership dues will remain at $120.00 for renewing members.
For new members the dues are $150.00 which includes a $30.00 processing fee.

As an Inspector what do I need to do to qualify for the $75.00 Annual Education Pass?
MEMBERS: Click here to renew: KREIA - Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors Association

How can KREIA cut the fees so drastically?
KREIA is committed to "Home Inspectors Helping Home Inspectors". KREIA has the reserve funds to do this by having been good stewards of the membership's money, through membership fees, successful education conferences and good financial management. KREIA's financial situation changed this year as we have been accepted by the IRS as a non-profit 501 (c) tax exempt organization. What this means is KREA is officially a non-profit organization. KREIA is not here to sell a product for profit. The fees charged are only used to cover operational costs and the cost of emergency situations. The KREIA Board of Directors has declared the current business climate to be an emergency situation for the KREIA membership.
THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION WILL NOT BE COMPROMISED!

KREIA's Board of Directors continues to work to improve the quality of education while reducing cost. To be fiscally responsible, KREIA needs to maintain a reserve fund to be able to absorb the impact of unforeseen issues. An example of this is the financial impact of a situation, such as the spring ice storm in 2003, ruining a conference, leaving KREIA with the bills but no participants. It is the responsibility of the KREIA Board of Directors to keep KREIA solvent to assure its long term commitment to the membership. The KREIA plans and budgets support KREIA's continued solvency.

During The October Conference, a KREIA Annual Membership meeting will held. During the meeting the details of the operations of the KREIA will be presented including the events of the year that enabled this one time fee reduction.
We look forward to seeing you there!
