Ejector pumps & lines
I rarely find ejector pumps and generally disclaim them along with a recommendation to have them regularly serviced. I searched the archives and got some good information, but did not find my question addressed.
The discharge side line was ABS. ABS is the standard for DWV in Calif. However, I was under the impression that ABS is not designed for pressure, so shouldn't this be Sch. 40 PVC? Or, is it OK?
Yes, yes... Needs a check valve and a gate valve.

Re: Ejector pumps & lines
Say Gunnar. That could be a real mess to pop a line in a yard or even at the pump. I don't know what the pressure is coming out of these pumps.
All the ones that you see set up by most plumbers are white pipe Sch. 40 PVC.
I don't think there is that much pressure to damage ABS black pipe...

They allow those receptacle outlets down there below where the water can fill up to?
