    Default Single wall vent

It must be busy, lots of questions on the site. So it's my understanding the wate heater vent must extend 12inches prior to any bends. Moreover, can PEX be within six inches of single wall.

    Thanks
    Mat

Like Fritz, I would not be concerned about the mostly-straightened-out-adjustable-elbow, but ...

... why has no one mentioned that connection of the vent above to that mostly-straightened-out-adjustable-elbow?

    What is that connection anyway?
