Slightly modified water heater
Hi Guys...
I have been an inspector for the last 23 years and this will be my first post. I ran into "this" the other day and thought you might like it. Looked ok to me.
"Gas Valve?.....We don't need no stinking gas valve.."
These idiots were using the gas shut off valve like a throttle when they needed hot water. It came as no surprise that there more than a few bongs on the premises.

Good Lord Man how do people live as such? These are the kinds of things that keep me awake at night such as right now. Its 2:50 am. and I'm wide awake.

wow,I am still trying to pick my jaw up from dropping so hard. ... I have a 1000 and 1 thoughts running through my head right now and yet I am pretty much speechless. I do hope you called the local building department.

Well, I guess that beats the propane barbeque burner under the water heater that started a garage fire out by me a couple years ago...sorry no photos.
