Default Watts pressure regulator on toilet tank

This is a Watts plastic pressure regulator on water pipe to a toilet tank in a 2 years new house. There are 5 bathrooms, but only this one on upper floor has a regulator. Also the owner compliant dripping sound at 20 feet away after flushing from this toilet. Is it related?

The dripping could be the result of the flapper not sealing properly and not due to pressure. On the other hand its strange that this toilet has a pressure regulator and not the other ones.

A dripping sound 20 feet away every time you flush the toilet? You sure that's not water running down the sewer pipes inside the wall?
