    They have some serious venting issues. Look at the disoloration. Also, where is the draft hood connector? I don't even see any screws.

    The manual should remain with the unit. If it is damaged then state it should be replaced.

    Keep the fire in the fireplace.

    In addition to what Bob H. said, that flexible copper line 'is reduced in size' and should not be used for the T&P discharge drain line.

    If you put photos in your report, that would be a good one to put in there.

    Bob H., question for you: Are those nylon/Teflon/whatever-type-plastic pieces in those flexible line connections allowed that close to the draft hood/vent? I've always been curious about that.
