    Question Don't open that valve!

Hey Boys and Girls. Long time no post. All work no play lately. Guess that's a good thing. I do miss the banter sometimes. I will have some time in the winter to catch up here. Just wanted to say hello. And post this pic I shot yesterday. I was dumbfounded when I saw this valve mounted right on the end of the main waste stack. Hmmmm.......

Now, Joe, I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason for that valve.
Let us know when you find out what it is!

    How about...?

So the owner has a garden hose with the male end bobbitized and replaced with a female end. Hook one end to this fitting and the other to the outside hose spigot. Open both valves and flush the drain line.

Another good reason for a backflow preventer on the hose spigot.

Wayne, that is seriously "twisted"! Nothing like bathroom humor. It somehow never seems to get old. Do really old men still laugh at farts?

Thumbs down Re: Don't open that valve!

brings new meaning to the term "sewer tap". Was there anything nearby that remotely could have been intended to connect to this spigot such as a washing machine?

Probably saw this done on Toolbelt Diva....
