Thread: DFW leak detection specialist

Anyone have any experience with a Dallas Fort Worth area leak detection specialist or a leak detection company they can recommend? I need help determining if a pool is leaking. This is for my own pool.

Here is a quick check you can make yourself:

Partially fill a 5 gallon bucket with pool water, make the water level on the side of the bucket. Now let the bucket drift out into the pool for a day or two.

If the water loss is due to evaporation, the water level in the bucket will fall at the same rate as the water level in the pool falls, however, if the water level in the bucket remains essentially the same while the pool level drops, the pool is likely leaking.

Yeah, rain can fake you out on this test.
