Thread: Anyone know what these are?

They were at a house that has a septic system. It smelled like WOW... when you get close to them.

Never smelled any offensive odors, maybe you have a broken line or unsealed conduit pushing septic air back. These are supposed to pump air into the tanks to aide in decomposition of solids. Almost always used with a system designed to have chlorine introduced in the final tank to disinfect the effluent that then goes to an above ground emitter (sprinkler) head.

And I thought Aerobics was just for fat chicks!

I've heard great things about those systems, but the air back up was always a worry to me.

Whoooa, cant get past the sprinkler head thing...
