FLEX PIPE BETWEEN MAIN PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE
HEY ALL
first time i have ever seen this. they have installed a water heater flex pipe between main water intake pressure valve and second shut off valve. i know this can't be right. what do you think??

thanks, iknow it had sharkbite label on it. i had just never seen it installed , and didn't know if it was allowed. see something new everyday in this job

Charlie,
Keep in that, like the other SharkBite fittings, and other flexible piping, I doubt that is electrically continuous.
As such, that would need a bonding jumper across it from metal piping to metal piping to maintain the electrical bonding.

after looking at photo again, i do see a copper rod on left side of photo--did not check for at inspection. but maybe it is there. may not get back to property--but it is vacant and close to me--so maybe go check out tomorrow. take a look
