This is a wall that separates two bays in a garage so I am not worried about fire protection. I looked through the GAStite PDF but it wasn't clear about just passing through a sheetrock wall.

 Thanks

I spoke to GasTite and CSST can pass through sheet rock without any sleeving as long as it has it plastic coating and there are no fitting inside the wall cavity. The exception is when passing through masonry / brick walls, it must be sleeved.

Keep the fire in the fireplace.
