    Default Gas pipe Connection?

    Does anyone know anything about this gas black pipe connection? It is very simular to a water line for a ice maker in my opinion.

    I don't know what your building code allows, but saddle fittings aren't a good idea for gas piping. They aren't typically allowed for water piping either.
