Sprinkler valves and equipment in crawlspace
This place had sprinker equipment located in the crawlscape. Valves, PVC pipe, fittings, and brass vacumm breaker all in the crawl. I know for many practical reasons this should not be done. Just wanting to know if this is allowed.

Not allowed
Vacuum breakers vent water
Some vacuum breakers need to be higher than any outlet on the sane circuit.
PVC is not allowed in the crawl space

I see your from Washington State - Whazzup Bro ! While it doesn't get as cold in WA as many other areas, I'm surprized that system hasn't already been freeze destroyed. Sprinklers in general are another matter. I believe they do as much damage as good in residences and their biggest value is employment for the installers.
