I remember going on a tour of the dome in Toronto and when we got in the locker room I was amazed how high the shower heads and urinals were.

Both are unvented S traps, and piping in the draisn like they did has ruined the benifits of having an overhead sewer. They sell a pump in a box just for this type of plumbing system. The pump box still needs to be vented properly but it will also prevent them from flooding when the city sewer backs up.
