Natural draft vent (water heater) clearance to window
Whats the clearance of a natural draft B vent to operable window, door, deck?
Vert wall?

I see the mechanical draft clearances. I even see where tankless water heaters maintain clearances to decks etc... But yea, I was interested in the termination to window / doors..Good to hear from you. hope all is good up there.... now go to bed..
G2427.6.3 (503.6.4) Gas vent termination. A gas vent shall terminate in accordance with one of the
following: vents that are over 12 inches (305 mm) in size or are located less than 8 feet (2438 mm) from a vertical wall or similar obstruction shall terminate not less than 2 feet (610 mm) above the highest point where they pass through the roof and not less than 2 feet (610mm) above any portion of a building within 10 feet (3048 mm) horizontally.
NFPA 54 12.7.2 Gas Vent Termination. The termination of gas vents
shall comply with the following requirements
a) Gas vents that are 12 in. (300 mm) or less in size and located not less than 8 ft (2.4 m) from a vertical wall or similar obstruction shall terminate above the roof in accordance with Figure 12.7.2 and Table 12.7.2.
(b) Gas vents that are over 12 in. (300 mm) in size or are located less than 8 ft (2.4 m) from a vertical wall or similar obstruction shall terminate not less than 2 ft (0.6 m) above the highest point where they pass through the roof and not less than 2 ft (0.6 m) above any portion of a
building within 10 ft (3.0 m) horizontally.
