(Actually, if you Google plumbing parts and tail piece and/or tail pipe it seems the two terms are interchangeable...also one or two words).

Found this pic among the photos taken at this same foreclosed house. They had written things like this all over the house with chalk.

I would say that they left their pusher for the ever popular TREC food waste disposer. However I dont see any garbage disposal.
