    Default Vent termination

Can anyone tell me how high the plumbing vents should terminate above a flat roof in snow country? I have not inspected the home yet so I can't say yet how high they are, and the IRC book doesn't give a definate answer. P3103.1 Roof extensions

    Is that a good idea?

You need to check with your local AHJ.

6" is the minimum height above a roof, then the AHJ adds to that so the vent will be above snow height - at least the AHJ *should* add to that.
