Default Separate Dishwasher Trap & Drain

Looking for input on the proper way to hook up a dishwasher drain hose into its own dedicated drain. Dishwasher drain hose will be just about 10' long. The drain hose will not be connected to the disposal. The plan is to put a trap on the drain stub coming out of the wall with a stand pipe onto which the dishwasher hose will connect to to provide an air break.

My question is whether or not the top of the stand pipe needs to be open for venting or can reducers be used to make the connection with out providing any venting?
