Furnace and Water Heater sharing same flue on different levels

Too bad you deleted it. From the pics it looks like we could have had a fun game of spot all the things wrong in these pictures!

Two primary issues
- Water is getting into the top of the chimney because there is no rain hat, the seam between the cap and clay flue liner is open and water is probably leaching down through the cap. That takes care of almost all the water issues visible at the chimney.
- As far as the flue pipe, that's all too obvious.

Thanks for the comment. I also found it interesting with the cold air return right next to the furnace that was installed in 2015. Also had a vent through the garage to house door right next to the furnace. Just surprised I didn't have any comments on them.
Must have asked the wrong questions.I always learn from the comments....sometimes on the lack of comments.
