A picture request
Hey guys in July we are holding a city wide OPEN HOUSE.... (omg). I was asked to post here and see if you guys out there would mind posting your favorite plumbing/electrical/mechanical/building pictures of all times? I would use these to show the general public at the inspection booth what bad instulations look like in a slideshow format. I dont want to flood the servers here with pictures so post 1-2 max of your all time fav pictures
Thanks for anyone who takes the time

Re: A picture request
Hey Billy,
That is from my "doorway to hell" post last fall that seemed to go on for ever.
Now what do I have that I can post?
How about these. They are all small (34 to 66 kb) so it shouldn't cause an issue for Brian.

Re: A picture request
This one is not so obvious, so I will 'splain. Yes, that is an extension cord running from (or to) the pool light.

Re: A picture request
Sorry, I realized that I forgot to adjust the brightness in one of the pics. This is over top of a basement stairs.
By the way, I have been contacted in the past for permission to use some of the pics that I have posted for your own personel use (not that they are reaally good or anything). Anyone and everyone is free to use any pics that have been posted for any reason that they see fit. I don't expect you to say that "Jon took this picture." or anything, but I would, however, appreciate it if you do not take credit for it.
Thanks Billy.

Hey Jon,
In regards to the photo you posted showing the rating on the tubing and the test gauge, doesn't the text on the pipe read 100 PSI @ 190* F?

The peanut butter still made me chuckle even though I have seen it before. That would be a good one for any presentation.

Re: A picture request
I was in my dentists office last month and the light switch on the wall in the xray room was missing its faceplate. I should have took a picture of it. Amazing, lots of jewelry wearing ladies in the office, reaching into a dark room to turn on/off the lights. My dentist understood the importance of it when I showed it to him. Didnt give me a discount though........

Re: A picture request
That was an underground duct in a slab. The furnace was gurgling slightly when I inspected it and found 4 inches of water in a 6 inch duct flowing through the home.

Jeff,
If the realtor had known that they'd mentioned that the home had a babbling type brook so one can sleep at ease at night in this charming home.
