TPR discharge pipe
Tell me this is wrong. I'm refering to code check (IRC 2803.6.1 and UPC 608.5). AS you can see this was an approved installation.

That NM cable is wrong too.

Looks like that is in a closet, in which case it would also require a disconnect to disconnect the water heater from its supply. (There is an exception for the disconnect, but with what is shown in that photo, I doubt it applies.)

Is that discharging into PVC in the corner behind the water heater? If so, that is not allowed either.

Wow. That's a whole lot of effort to do something completely wrong.

The icing on the cake, though, are the two APPROVAL stickers on the side of that thing.
