Saw this on Monday. The pipe on the left goes to a 500 gallon pond in the front entry area, the pipe on the right goes to the septic tank, the black pipe was where a pump was once installed in the system, and finally, the copper pipe is a water supply so they could fill the pond without using a garden hose in the front yard.

The man in the photo is the home owner trying to understand why I thought this could be a problem.

From the look on his face... he was the one who installed the system and (with that look of puzzlement) he is still trying to figure out what he did.

Thre is that look of... "Could that really happen?"
