What do you think about this photo of a garbage disposal unit in a $260k home

Looks like plenty of prior leaking from somewhere under the sink.

Why was the disposer shored up? Is the sink made of very, very thin stainless steel? That setup surely causes the entire cabinet to vibrate when the disposer is running.

Dont know why it was jacked up but there was lots of rust at the sink connection, maybe not enough metal left on the unit??

I would think that the locking ring is loose. Homeowner did not know to tighten the ring, so they propped it up to get rid of the vibration.

It did have a past leak and all the wood will need replacing in the floor
