I guess this is ok? it is for a laundry sink.

In Georgia only the white vents are approved. I am not clear as to when/ where they are allowed to be used though.

Nope, that's one of the 'mechanical vents' approved for use in mobile homes.

For 'regular' homes, that would need to be white, either an Oatey or a Studor Vent (and there may be other manufacturers now, but those are the two largest manufacturers - Studor Vent was first, which is why many people call those 'Studor Vents' as a term for them).

I'd be concerned of the lint gathering in and around the AAV either from sealing it or preventing its seal from pressure. Of course that is if the jurisdiction approves its use.

what you could not see in the picture was a dryer vent duct that was disconnected. that will be solved as well. thanks
