Tankless water heater continued....
As I said in my earlier post, I don't run into many of these. This one had a recirculating (circulating?) pump in the line. Wouldn't that cause the thing to fire up all the time? That doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I've run into a bunch of tankless heaters with recirc lines. Per manufacturer's instructions, it usually involves a normal water heater to hold a decent volume of hot water.

Or a motion sensor wall switch in the farthest bathroom to turn the recirc pump on intermittently.
