Thanks for the link to the article. I've left a response at the claims-journal regarding our (SNAPPI) efforts in southern Nevada to educate home-buyers about the risks and dangers of residential pools and water-features and how buyers can mitigate those risks with intelligent upgrades to limit unattended and unintended access to pool areas by small children etc. Every SFR inspection report I issue contains multiple recommendations for safety-upgrades to the pool environs and also includes articles outlining the risks and upgrade 'options' along with strong encouragement to implement those recommendations, for the sake of the kids. I'd like to think our efforts are bearing fruit...but time will tell. We'll do our part going forward.
