For the 35.00 cost of an anti-vortex drain cover this child could be alive.

The article says the parents are seeking 15,000 dollars? That has to be wrong.

Recommended covers to be installed should be Anti-Entrapment.

    Chad,

    (bold is mine)

"The Cohns are seeking more than $15,000 in damages".

Small claims is likely 'up to $15,000', thus, stating "more than $15,000 puts into a different court, and, in reality, these are frequently for "unspecified damages", which does the same thing.
