would stove
I installed a wood stove in my living room 2 yrs. ago. The pipe goes straight through the roof. I have good draft, and allways keep the pipe clean, my problem is I get a lot of soot on the ceilings and walls. Any ideas?

If you have the type stove that you shut the draft and chimney dampers down to get a long burn, if you open the dampers and let the fire build back up before opening the doors on the stove it will help cut down on the sooting problem.
