I have a Trane model 4twr5048e1000ab heat pump. From what I can find this is a 4 ton unit. Can anyone verify?

Thanks, Billy - does the leading 4 in the model number indicate it was manufactured in 2004?

Herb,

The Model # has the Size information,

The Serial # will have The Manufacture Date in it.
*see Barry's Link to match Serial # to dates of manufacture.
