splicing two hard pipe gas lines with flex line
Under/crawl space Manufactured Home, there is two hard pipe gas lines that are connected together/spliced by using a flex line. this is in Arizona. Is this type of splicing legal? is it common?

also, the AC/Heating flex vent is resting on the ground. again, is this legal? is this common?

I could not get photos to upload.
