    Default Roof Valley

Here is the opposite roof valley. This valley is installed differently from the other roof valley.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Just to keep it simple and not get into it...That is about right but with the rest of the roof messed up that will need a thorough eval by the same roofer giving them a price for the rest of repairs/replacement.

It's messed up.... rake flashing is put on wrong, ridge cap is made up of field shingles (probably won't leak but is a sign of a bad job), valley looks to be done wrong - the seam is open to the uphill side.

On edit: the rake flashing may be correctly underneath the shingles but the shingles are cut too far back.... or, the flashing is the wrong type. In any case it's definitely a homeowner job.
